I thought I had already started a thread on this ''patina'' that is popular today, but don't see it.
Anyway, I know that I'm a retired 58 yr. old geezer, but I don't get this patina shit !
I can see having a original car that has surface rust etc. and you want to keep it that way. But to intensely air brush rust or use acid to actually damage body parts, is nuts ! Lol.

I have a friend who spent a lot of money having his truck made to look like it was old and rusty and I don't even look at those cars and trucks when I see them at shows. Like I told Dave, just save all of that money and park it outside for a year or so.

Carry a ball peen hammer in your back pocket to shows. If you see one of those "patina" cars, put a couple of dingers in the hood then give the owner an invoice for your services.
