    New member Wbhughes

We have a new member, Wbhughes (Brian). Here's what he had to say:

... looking to learn whatever I can about my new purchase. I have a new BDR RT4 on order from Vintage Motorsports that will be powered by a VMS 427Xv3FI. I'm hoping for a late spring delivery which coincides with the weather getting better here in NJ. I live at the Jersey Shore and I work in motorsports. I'm leaving this evening for an event at Kyalami and while there, I have arranged a visit with Tony and John to see the Backdraft facility in Durban. Using "Brian" is fine and odds are you won't see a lot of posts from me. I want to learn about these cars and there is no need for me to prove my ignorance about them!

Welcome Brian, hope you enjoy the forum.

    Kevin

    Welcome aboard Brian.

You will find that a lot, hell, even a majority of the posts are not technical or even Cobra related so join the fun.

Now with that said you will also find that if someone had a technical or serious question that anyone with any knowledge will jump in and try to help. So we can be serious when the need arises.

Thanks guys - looking forward to this new adventure. Nomad - I'll post when I know what I'm talking about, which, when it comes to Cobras, is very little. I've got lots to learn and I know it!

Welcome Brian. I think you are getting an idea of what you might be in for, but we do have fun.

Yes Brian. Beware. Unfortunately I have been the recipient of Nomad's pens and have had to move twice as a result. Do not let him know your address.

Hoping this works....Photos from the BDR Factory in Durban on the day they were closing for the Christmas Holiday. Just missed seeing 12 cars being shipped out to the USA. Mine (BDR 2206) is due in the USA at the end of March - can't waitIMG-0640.jpgIMG-0645.jpgIMG-0647.jpgIMG-0636.jpgIMG-0638.jpg

    Brian,

I am looking forward to more pictures also. And with you getting it near the Spring that should work out well as you won't have to wait so long to start enjoying it.

Hopefully the plan for a springtime delivery comes together - so far it has. Now to try and understand the intricacies of titling, registering, and insuring it ... Here's a few more from the factory
