I found a picture of the previous owner out enjoying it.

Here you go Dean. You need one of these for your spare tire.

And here is the optional one.

damned, i should be sober by now in the morning.... or do you post pics double ?
I was thinking about your Jeep this morning and wondering if you have had a chance to use it yet.
Looks great Dean. But why is the top on???
Well we did use it on the 18th at the beach...that's why I posted that pic in near real-time. It was a very windy day so we just kept the top up to keep the sand out of the interior (wife's orders). Weather the past three days has been shitty, too. Plus with all the spring breakers here it's a tad crowded beachside.
I have a few things on order. One is a water-resistant trail cover to use when I park it on my driveway. The soft top does not seal completely in the upper corners at the windshield, so I need another moisture barrier. No amount of new door rubber or even a new soft top will seal it at that juncture. The other is a fuel injection insulation kit. The brain trusts at Jeep installed the fuel line and the injectors/rail right above the exhaust manifold. Once the car gets warm it will vapor lock and then it runs rough for the first minute thereafter each re-start. The $60 kits fix this...just have to pull the injectors, etc. and that will give me the opportunity to clean it all out when in there. Last, I tried to adjust the parking brake and discovered that the plate underneath was loose and the adjuster part was rusted shut. Penetrating oil only did so much so I ordered a new adjuster ($20). The plate was an easy fix using two nyloc nuts. The rest of the undercarriage is void of any rust, so that was the only component that got seriously attacked.
Otherwise it's pretty tight overall.

Overall Dean that is not a bad list for a used vehicle. Generally they say you can plan on spending 10% to 15% of what you paid for the vehicle in repairs in the first year.
