The Carter County Sheriff's Office confirmed to NBC affiliate WCYB that the couple were on a plane that crashed at the Elizabethton Municipal Airport. The Federal Aviation Administration said that a Cessna Citation rolled off the end of a runway and caught fire after landing at around 3:40 p.m. local time.

I was watching TV yesterday and they broke in and showed the wreck. They had just gotten there and the plane was burning but after the fire was out that sure looked like a mangled mess just to have rolled off the runway and caught fire. Anyway they showed them treating Jr and him laying on the grass but said there seemed to be no major injuries to any of the five which is very lucky.

Wow.. That's a hell of a reality check ! Amazing they all are ok.

I would agree Grumpy. A lot of plane crashes are not survivable.
