    2019 HAN Pictures

For some reason when I upload them to Flickr they don't stay in order so it may seem strange as a car and engine or other related picture may not be in order. Sorry, I don't know how to sort them out.

Remember, I'm just a stupid primate with typing skills. Hell, a bunch of my cousins wrote Shakespeare by banging on some typewriters for a couple years after all.

And here is a LS that I liked.

When I first seen it at a distance I was wondering where the coil packs were. Looked closer and it had a distributor. WTF??? Talked to the guy and he does a lot of work for NASCAR and this is one of the things he came up with. And the intake is something he designed and then had N/C machined.

    Overall a very nice car.

That shortened 57 Chevy is unique.

    Looks like a great event.

Great pics John!! Thanks for sharing!

Just a question, if I may.

I noted that one Mustang was running a Cleveland motor, and am just curious to know how popular the Clevelands are in States. I run a stroked Cleveland in my Cobra, which originally came from a Ford Fairmont GT which were imported into SA in large numbers from Australia during the 70's. They are quite common and still available out here, but are notoriously very expensive to rebuild and get after market parts for.

Don't know if they were ever sold in the US, but this is what the Fairmont GT looks like.

Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most...

Great pics, John! Some mile deep paint jobs and many serious, high quality builds! Must have been one eye-opening event.

Those are great pictures John and they had some really great paint jobs on some of the cars. You should have had your Viper there. I am glad they you had a great time as I used to have great times when I was over there. So many cars and so much to look at.

Yes Gian, the Cleveland motor was sold here in the US but there were not a lot of them.

I had a friend that had a Pro-Stock Pinto that ran a Cleveland motor in it. The one issue that the Cleveland motor had was the exhaust ports on the heads. They had an extreme angle on them that hurt the flow. He would mill out the upper portion of the exhaust port and then weld up the port floor. Then a new aluminum piece would be bolted in place and this corrected the poor design and greatly increased the flow.
