I haven't tried it personally Dom as my stomach won't take really hot stuff but I know two people who did try it and they both said it was good but not the best they had ever tasted. But they used to go to the chili cook offs we had here and they wanted it hot enough to melt a spoon when you dipped it into the chili. So I don't really recommend their statements as being a good judge of it.

Never tried it. We have a recipe we have refined over the years that we love so that is what we make all the time.

A friend of mine gave me a package of that chili several years ago. It's still sitting in the cupboard. Maybe someday I'll give it a try.

Well John, since I am quite aware that you are an accomplished chef, I will take your advice and let it age for a few more years. Thanks for the help
