I’m going to guess that someone probably died in that seat.

If not they were very fortunate. That is one of the worst torn up cars that I have seen for along time.

Before opening I had already planned to responds that from a prior Pantera owner the two best days are the day you buy one and the day you get rid of it. Looks like that didn't apply in this case.

    Tom,

No that is the aftermath of the wreck. I have pictures somewhere of a friends Cobra that he wrecked and it is almost as bad. He lived barely but was never able to drive anything again.

Those low speed wrecks are the worst.

The most amazing thing to me is that this thing is for sale on eBay with an asking price of $16,000.00.

And I thought I started drinking early in the day.

Seriously? I don't think there is anything on it that could be salvaged.

They claim the Vin number can be used but I don't think so. Now on any other car.

Maybe someone is buying the VIN and they ended up with a different Pantera that was previously stolen and learned they can't legally register it any longer because of its history? Makes one wonder...

I actually thought it might have been crushed at first too. Then I thought it may have just been part of a stack of junked cars in a yard - and it was on the bottom. Appears to be missing the roof however - maybe it got peeled back somehow.

The damage is not uniform enough to be from a crusher.

CSX 2286 I remember this one as I was watching the race. It belonged to one of the Walton boys and he wasn't really a great driver. And there was a lot more damage done than it looks like in the picture.

Wash, clay bar and a good coat of wax and it will be good as new.
