I could not hear it as I still have popcorn stuffed in my ears from last night.

    Don't ask.

Sounds better than the new Ford GT - IMO.

To be fair Dan, the new Ford GT has to pass EPA requirements.

Only in California do they make a big deal out of that. My cousin hasn't had to have one of his cars checked for the last 10 years and he has everything from old to new. And speaking of that, have you seen the NEW Electric Jaguar?

I believe this GT (a CAV) is owned by Gary Shapara. He used to be very active on the other forum and owned several different Cobras over the years (all replicas and all very nice) before he settled on this particular GT. I believe he has owned this one longer than all the rest. This one doesn’t sound as angry to me as others I have heard but it’s still a really nice GT.

    Dean,

You are correct as usual. Here is another video if it. Not a lot of action but some good shots.

Dad and I looked this car over really good last year at TCC is really is a very well built car even when the doors close they have resounding thud like a regular production car. He puts several hundred miles on at this event and I have never know it cause him any trouble. It really looks great and can steal attention even in a parking lot full of Cobras.
Unfortunally we missed this year but plan to be there next year for sure.

Interesting. I have never seen the spinners safety wired back to the hub like that.

Well as I remember it's not safety wire per se. but a hair pin clip that fits over the spinner ear and through a hole in the hub. I have seen a couple different styles of that. some just spring out to engage two holes but hang out.

Here is close up Mark. Is this what you are thinking of? Still looks like safety wire to me, but then I have been drinking since I woke up this morning.

OK - my hubs are drilled and I have "safety pins" in them but they don't engage the spinner ear. They just keep the spinner from completely un-winding.

I'm pretty sure I know what you are referring to Dan. The pin has a split ring that is offset to the pin so they go over center and lock in place. At least is the type I have seen in the past.
