    Not Often Seen

This was sent to me by a member and has some great camera work. I have seen the Eagles around here go after small dogs but never anything this large.

As fragile as birds are with their hollow bone structure I'm surprised the eagle survived.

I guess that goat looked a little smaller from way up there.

Well Eagles do have great eyesight. I watch them over at the lake and they will be so high they are hard to see and suddenly you will see one coming down like a dive bomber and he will skim the water and go up with a fish in his claws.

That eagle held on tight. I wish the video ran longer. I'd like to see if it actually flew away.

I don't think he was hunting, just some adrenalin junkie eagle goat surfing. Reminded me of a snowboarded going down a mountain but without the snow.
