    Finishline Accessories

Has anyone else had problems with Finishline? I placed an order early January and to date I have not had any response to me emails or phone messages. I can see that the status of my order is "not shipped" but that didn't stop them from processing my credit card!

I can't understand why companies provide such lousy customer service and yet they are still in business. This WILL be my last order to Finishline.

I was just wondering if this is how they do business.

    Thanks
    Stu.

    Stu,

I haven't had anything to do with them since they moved here to California but I see posts on other sites that people seem to have much the same problem that you are having. And then I see others post that they have no trouble so it is hard to tell what is going on. I quit getting things from them when they screwed Jackie over after she worked so hard to try and get it back straightened out.

Jakie was the best. Finishline has gone down hill since she left.

I agree ... the guy that bought the business just doesn't seem to care about his customers ... I used to order from them but not anymore.

I have some updates on our friend Jackie ... I will post shortly. She is doing great and is even doing stand up comedy in the Miami area.

Santa brought me some quick jacks for Christmas - I wanted to swap out my bumperettes to change the look. I had a question about FinishLine's quickjacks and left a message for a call back. Never heard back so bought them elsewhere.

I only order from them when I absolutely have to. And that was last week. I knew in advance that one of the items was back ordered and in route from England so I expected the delay. To save on shipping my hunch is the other items will end up delayed until it’s all there. I agree that the overall customer service experience is considerably different vs. prior ownership.

Guess what......... So after a nasty email I sent this morning low and behold I got a phone call. He was apologizing profusely!! Saying how sorry he was.

Long story short my order has been shipped today!

    Stu,

That is good news. To bad it had to get to that extreme though.

Stu, I wrote to Taylor earlier today and he responded within a few hours. So he is answering email. Whenever I experience spotty response times or service from sole proprietorships, I always suspect family or private issues (health related or otherwise) that cause communication disruptions. Otherwise the customers will ultimately speak with their wallets and the business goes buh-bye.

    Good evening!

My fender decals order got lost in Frankfurt, which is not FinishLine's problem. But I mailed them 3 times to sales@csxparts.com since early June now to find out if there is any insurance on the shipment. I got no response. Shipping was $25 to Germany, which is a lot for four decals. They should be insured.

    Dom,

I hope that you either get the decals of they will at least replace them free. I would have thought that a shipment of anything overseas would have been insured.

Insurance or not, you paid for a product and did not receive it. They still owe you that product.

As I posted previously on this topic, I only use Finishline as a last resort, Hail Mary pass source. Their overall customer service since Enzo's passing and selling of the business to a Kalifornia-based owner basically sucks.

It arrived yesterday! Shortly before FL replied, confirming it was also insured. Is the Post office in Germany reading this forum??

Confusing for me was, on top of the delay, that I mailed to cobraperformance/csxparts (for original parts) who also replied yesterday to my mail after I left a message.

But my order was with finishline - same website, two different entities.

Yes, at last. The irony is that the badges now are parked next to the chome FE valve covers which I forgot in Germany - until I fly to fetch them.
